Let me tell you this:

There's always something you can teach others.

And it's your obligation to help them.

Talking to @AlexLlullTW made me realize I should share this piece of advice:

👇
No matter your skill level, there will be always people behind you that you can serve and teach something.

The same as you're always a level behind someone else.

Knowing this and applying it to your life is a game-changer.

Find an -1, 0, and 1 person in your life and grow.
-1 = a person that's behind you in a certain skill

Teach them, take them under your wing, or help them set up something.

You don't have to do the work for them, just give them a helping hand.

On- or offline, it doesn't matter. Help out.

One day, you were in that position.
0 = a peer

Someone that's equally skilled in a specific skill.

Someone who you can discuss your progress with, bounce off ideas or use as an accountability partner.

A peer is someone that tells you the truth, even though it hurts to hear.

A great peer can propel your growth.
1 = someone that's a bit better than you

Someone from which you can learn a specific skill.

Ask them for 1 piece of advice, go do that, and then come back for a new piece of advice.

Combine words with actions and show you're serious about growing.

Don't be a lurker, please.
In life, you need to surround yourself with all 3 levels:

• Teaching is a grateful activity and helps you discover your blind spots

• Discussing ideas with a peer helps with critical thinking and forms better relationships

• Learning sets you up for a better future
