The President-elect and VP-elect have their own Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) which operates as a nonprofit and is tasked with raising millions to help organize and underwrite inaugural festivities such as the parade, balls, parties and other events.

Tony Allen, the President of Delaware State University who served as a special assistant and speechwriter for Biden during four years of his career in the Senate, has been tapped as CEO of the inauguration committee.

In addition to the parade, PIC handles ticketing for other formal public and private events hosted by the committee, including normally 7 to 9 balls where Biden and Harris would make an appearance, and an additional 10 to 15 other balls, as well as hundreds of smaller events.

It's more important than ever that Biden and Harris have the Inauguration Ceremony they deserve, SAFELY.
