first off. what are forms of mlm fetishization? well, in general fandom culture, the most common are overreacting over something simply bc its mlm content, and infantilizing us.
examples include giving exaggerated compliments or praise to mlm works (this isnt too noticable but once you look youll see the exaggerations), and calling mlm or people/characters in mlm ships "cute babies" and the like
YES, while giving praise to mlm content is okay, it is easy to tell when you're exaggerating and pushing it just because its gay and it feels very uncomfy.
the first ships that come to mind for me when i think extremely fetishized mlm are dreamnotfound, certain kpop ships, and phan. make sure whenever ur shipping mlm ships (or any ships in general) youre respecting mlm boundaries and if its a person that person's boundaries <3
