Since practically every mainstream news outlet is publishing the distorted report by B’tselem that Israel is apartheid, a reminder that they have a history of distorting facts on the ground to push their political agenda.

Yair Lapid called them out back in 2016 when they published a report on Operation Protective Edge called “whitewash protocol”. Lapid lambasted them for using Hamas’ inflated numbers and painting a distorted narrative even back then.

More recently back in March 2020 they published a “report” that Israel had confiscated tents in J&S/WB that were meant for a Covid emergency clinic. This too was was refuted by COGAT who coordinates with this kind of stuff in the territories.

Now they’re at it again spreading the “apartheid” lie. There’s lots of very real issues to complain about, but if you’re going to use false slogans in a distorted report while ignoring the facts which refute these slogans then you’re a political org not a human rights org.

Israel isn’t perfect, but no apartheid country would have Arab/Palestinian citizens integrated in every facet of the country to where they have the 3rd largest bloc in parliament, Supreme Court judges, heads of hospitals and banks, and multiple other distinguished positions.

Fight for better rights without distorting the reality and drinking the kool-aid of political orgs who use cheap slogans for their narrative. If you think this is going to get most Israelis to change their perspective when their country gets falsely demonized you’re dead wrong.
