i don't know enough about Long/Gone/Gulch, all i know is that this "Native" character is inapropriate. it feeds into the "sexy" Native women stereotype that literally gets actual Native women fetishized and murdered. just look through #MMIW. this isn't ok and should be addressed.

this character is a lazy design riddled with stereotypes and very much plays into haha sexy tribal lady. especially her name being "BW" (they abbreviated it cuz it means Buffalo Wing, which is a racist jab at traditional Native names).

the only good thing about this character is they're voiced by a Native women, but it's frustrating because i am tired of seeing Native actors having to fulfill white gaze/stereotypical roles such as these. we should be able to properly represent ourselves and our cultures.

idk who designed this character, but its hard to believe a Native person did. if a Ntv person Did, that doesn't make it any less uncomfortable for a lot of us Natives. and i'm a Native saying this character is uncomfortable and racist.

literally just look up this character and racist nsfw shit will pop up. it's bad. y'all don't understand how serious of an issue it is for Ntv ppl to be fetishized and go missing and be found murdered. it's a devastating problem and this shit doesn't help. it contributes to it.
