They are doing it right now in the form of literally redefining words and their usage in real time. Why? So they can further their agenda and rules. The key is to reject it; don’t accept them changing up the game as you play.
Otherwise, they will constantly shift those rules every time you start to catch on. A perpetual game of chase; you will expend so much energy just trying to catch up, by the time you do, you’re exhausted. And that’s when the rules change again. Feeling like it’s futile, you quit.
So how do you beat them then? Do your homework. You have to have a really deep scouting report. Identify their strengths and weaknesses, and where you do and don’t match up. You need to be able to think like them (and more) in order to start to understand and counter their moves.
Once you can anticipate their strategic moves, you can actually get out in front of them. This now allows you to not only counter them, but be proactive in your approach. You want them to have to start chasing you.
Make them afraid to lose. This happens when they get arrogant in their “winning”. Which gets them focused on what you are doing, not on what they were doing to be successful. Though, be careful. You want to remain in the David mindset. You have to continue to study them.
Here’s the next key: you have to craft the right narrative and moral message. This requires not only a study of your opponent (taking the things they did that worked), but a study of those you are trying to win over (the people). You have to know what messaging works.
This is a “hearts and minds” battle. If they win on that front, it’s a tough uphill battle. This is why the left is hammering home the language they are. They are playing to the low information person who isn’t up to speed with what all the real facts are.
The left has capitalized on one tragic event, and has turned it almost literally into a crusade against anyone right of socialist. They are crafting a narrative and making a heavy moral case that all Republicans are traitors, white Supremacists, Christian Nationalists, etc.
This messaging is designed for at least two for two fold: get anyone deemed right to either back down, or fight back. It’s a win for them either way. You back down, they win. You fight back (in anger), you become exactly what they said you were. They win.
The other design for their messaging is to get those the messaging is for (the average person) to see them as the “adult in the room.” That was Joe Biden’s play the whole time. He crafted a narrative of SAFETY and anyone not taking Covid seriously was immoral.
Why else would Biden “hide in his basement?” It was deliberate. The speeches with people in trucks, when he looked right into the camera at a debate and asked how many people weren’t at your kitchen table anymore, always wearing a mask, etc. They were banking on safety and fear.
So, where do we go now? How do we challenge the Squad? How do we challenge the establishment (either party)? TBH, my solutions are probably below the necessary pay grade. But I like focusing on the big picture strategy. Developing a mindset that adapts and evolves.
It will take time. And it will be filled with struggle. But we must go back and create a vision. What do we really stand for? To say the “Constitution” just doesn’t cut it as a message (though it must be part of it).
We have to start telling stories and crafting messages showing (and selling) the Declaration and Constitution. Hell, the vision is built into the Declaration. It requires that we know why they are such powerful docs and why they are worth preserving.
We don’t win this battle with armed rallies and anger. We win it by appealing to hearts and minds. We win with honor and integrity. It’s hard as hell to turn the other cheek, I know personally. But we also don’t back down. And when it’s time, we use our slingshot to take them out
