Jungkook is not only so smart but he also has incredible intuition. I remember this was one of the first qualities that stood out to me when I learned about him and the story of how he joined bts. Here’s a long thread about things I’ve noticed when it comes to his intuitive mind
Intuition is when you use past experiences & cues from yourself & the environment to make decisions. Jin mentioned that jungkook is the type of person who actually learns and grows by reflecting on his past experiences
what jin says about him is so important. intuition isn't always right, but jungkook's seems to be very reliable. One reason is that he’s a reflective person who constantly works to improve like jin says and another is bc he’s very conscious of things like prejudice & stereotypes
Something I think about a lot is jungkook's choice to sign with bh when he was 13 years old. He once mentioned that at first singing wasn’t his dream, but he is also the type who is aware of & confident in his skills
He probably knew he was a good singer, but the decision to audition seems to have been an intuitive one. He wasn’t sure, but he followed his gut feeling and his intuition lead him where he was meant to be.
He was scouted by 7 companies, all which were much more established in the industry compared to bh. Yet, he chose bh and the only specific reason he gave was that he watched a video of namjoon rapping. People joke about this often, but its amazing when you think about it.
It’s not just luck or impulse. This was a major decision he had to make in 2011 and his choice was an intuitive one because logically any other choice seemed better at the time. yoongi once said, “it’s incredible that he declined all the bigger agencies and entered ours"
we don't know the reason behind declining the offers of the other companies, but in the beginning of bts's halloween dance practice video he says "my gut feeling has never been wrong" and I think he is very conscious of this & leans on his instincts about situations often.
many skills he acquired are self-taught which shows that he's an intuitive learner. He has mentioned that he uses youtube to learn things such as editing, cooking, drawing, etc. the fact that he is able to master skills just by observing then applying himself is so impressive.
Initutive people nurture their creativity & he heavily relies on different forms of creative expression. Being intentionally creative strengthens your intuition.
A simple example is how he had a vision for this painting in his mind that he didn’t plan out in detail but chose the colors and everything as he went along freely.
this poem he wrote is another moment that we witness his natural creative intuition. his brother's post of the poem he wrote when he was 6 proves that he has always been gifted in this way. Now we are seeing this in his incredibly poetic songwriting too
Intuitive people also like to slow down and hear their inner voice, which often requires solitude. His tendency to do things alone is not necessarily just tied to being an introvert, but also to being someone who likes to sit with their thoughts.
Even among a group of people he tends to be in his “own world” and its funny and cute, but it’s also an intuitive function that he even encourages in “Magic Shop,” a song about creating a world in your mind where you can escape to.
He also believes in fate and destiny which may help guide his intuitive decisions at times. Intuitive people are more likely to analyze their dreams too. In this live he speaks to this very enthusiastically.
intuition is something people can develop overtime. its incredible that his intuition was so evident since he was young and continues to be a driving force. just like his emotional intelligence its one of the qualities that helps him develop himself as both a person and an artist
