Now we know why they destroyed the radars... As me and @SAMSyria0 expected.

According to NDF sources, Israeli warplanes earlier came from the east direction to target positions in Al Bukamal/Deir ez Zour, most likely flying over SDF territory / Al tanf region https://twitter.com/AndrewBritani/status/1347147325865664518

Last night's raid was connected to the Israeli strikes on Jan 6th where they targeted the Reconnaissance Directorate in Suwayda, [As i stated above] destroying a radar and other equipment in the site.
Destroying the radar in Suwayda allowed the IAF to open a safe corridor to strike eastern Syria without any detection by SyAAD.
Regarding Air Defence, SyAAD operate no AD what covers over the US occupied Al-Tanf region / SDF occupied territory in the North East, which was the reason such strike can be done with 0 drawbacks
IAF took a similar route as they did when they struck east Syria - Central Syria back in June after they destroyed the EW network in Tel al Sahun, Suwayda.
The strike last night was of course with US approval. Coalition recon aircraft was active along the Syrian-Iraqi border 1 day before the strike, alongside British electronic intel aircraft which took a passage around SE Syria and stayed around east Al Bukamal for several hours
Once the intelligence was gathered, IAF, most likely F-35s, was able to fly along the Syrian-Jordanian border due to them destroying the Radar on Jan 6th & then made their way to the Syrian-Iraqi border, allowing them to fly over the Al Tanf region, penetrating Syrian airspace
IAF flying over Al Tanf secured their aircraft, which was followed by American Recon in the skies too.

In the SAA, there was 1 martyred so far, & several local pro SAA fighters martyred too, with the number maybe increasing due to some wounded.
