One thing I have noticed over now years of watching video of police dealing with people is that as soon as it's a person of color, the officer draws their weapon (usually their gun). Whereas when it's a white person, they really refrain from drawing a weapon. Even if that...
white person is actively coming at them.
So they'll shoot a black person in the back, but won't even tase a white person. (Generally).
My only conclusion is that they see inherent life value in white people and it is really hard for them to take arms against them and possibly...
hurt them.
Whereas they see no such life value in people of color. They are treated as disposable and therefore it's fine to end the problem, as they see it.

I can't see any other reason why black people are so quick to die in police situations and white people are not.
