The report into Mother & Baby homes is published tomorrow.

As a kid from Nazareth House it is a thing that is very close to my heart. I imagine the Church and countless others will talk about the passage of time and how things were different 'back then'.

9000 children died.
9000 children.

9000 children died in the care of and under the watchful eye of the Catholic Church in Ireland.

Thousands of those children were unceremoniously interred in unmarked graves, their lives forgotten, their existence simply washed off the face of the planet.
Mothers, Fathers, whole families were left wondering where their children went. Many were lucky. Many didn't fall victim to physical or sexual abuse, they were spared the brutality, neglect and malnutrition.

They were sold to rich Americans.

Sold.
And just like that the first tweet I see is this, highlighting the huge issues with the report.

Is Ireland still burying the bodies? https://twitter.com/cmcgettrick/status/1349095790581604352?s=19
