Listened to an #insomnia webinar last night. Sleep expert explained that the relaxation techniques, apps, herbal teas, oils, medications etc etc etc don’t have an evidence base. They only work if you don’t actually have a chronic sleep problem.
That’s because they don’t give you a sleep drive, which makes sense. What does have an evidence base is CBT-i which involves sleep restriction.
