Just like @eminently_me5 has said, we treat the GOP like men and Dems like women. There was a literal insurrectionist mob trying to MURDER Dems and yet Dems are *still* told to be nice, don't make them mad, don't make them violent.
The impeachment is not responsible for "inflaming violence." The people engaging in violence are responsible for inflaming violence. They can just stop. But we don't ask that of them. Just like we don't ask boys to control their urges, we ask girls to cover up.
We don't give rapists long sentences, we ask their victims to be forgiving. We ask Dems to seek peace while war is waged against us. We ask sexual harassment victims not to ruin a man's career. We ask Dems to rise above it without ever expecting the same of the GOP.
