We did not have money growing up. The worst feeling I remember is when my lunch was 2 dry weetabix because I couldn't find anything else that morning. I hid in a classroom with a bottle of water and I felt so embarrassed. 2/4
But growing up with not enough also gave me behaviours, like compulsive overeating, I'm still fighting at 34. Food poverty doesn't just hurt kids today. It hurts them for decades.
