It is just insane that the FBI Director, Deputy FBI Director, and Acting AG aren't giving this presser.
They had the FBI Director, DNI, and head of NSD and CISA out to announce some hoax emails from Iran! It's now been a week since an armed attack against the US Capitol and the first public briefing has zero presence from DOJ leadership?
This is a moment where it'd be significant to see Trump administration officials making clear that this is a serious investigation with the full backing of federal law enforcement. That sends a message not just about what occurred, but also to anyone considering future attacks.
