If you’re a sustainable and ethical brand, I would love to know on a good day how many garments do you sell? You can message me privately and I’ll keep you anonymous but share my findings publicly so people can understand that the big brands ARE the problem.
Okay one ethical brand just messaged me to say 3 sales a day is a good day for them. They make outdoor wear.
A beautiful ethical dress maker told me that 5 pieces in a day is a good day!
A custom lingerie maker said 5-10 pieces a day is pretty standard for them.
So far the biggest volume I’ve gotten from all the small brands has been 100 pieces sold in a day. This is far cry from the hundreds of thousands of pieces that the big brands are pushing daily.
A knitwear maker told me 10 pieces would be a really GOOD day for them. Their stuff is so pretty and it’s not super expensive. But this just shows you who has the money and power in this scenerio.
A crochet maker just said 5 pieces in a day is standard but if they’re having a sale, maybe 10!
