Let's start w/ my fav movie: Secret Window.

(It was most likely destroyed when Mort wrecked the house but I couldn't find a pic of it. I'll leave you, however, w/ the absolute destruction of the place (something ELSE Amber likes to allege, w/out a lick of proof)).

While we are on the subject of Morton Rainey, anyone who's watched the movie knows that Mort has multiple personalities: the isolated, witty author and a psychotic, violent murderer. In a sense, a monster. That was another one of Amber's frequent explanations.
That Johnny, when angry, would switch to a threatening, violent man, referring to this personality as "the monster".
In her witness statement, she claims that Johnny's eyes turned black when they got on the plane to Boston.

Potentially hyperbole (like her aforementioned "3 day hostage" situation).
But, it's also potentially a reference to Jack the Ripper's eyes turning black in From Hell. This, according to her statement is a feature of "the monster".

If we now jump into reality, Johnny drove a '68 Mustang when he was in 21 Jump Street. She (coincidentally?) had the exact same car until Johnny had it overhauled and it was painted cherry red. Might explain why she seemed so pissed when it was revealed to her.
Something Amber claims happened in Australia is, at one point, she was dragged through broken glass.
Again, another potential coincidence but in an interview in '03, Johnny mentions that his ex-girlfriend, Winona Ryder, was dragged through glass.
