Incredibly, the government has made their lockdown unfairness even worse. There is a new curbside pick-up or delivery curfew of 8 pm for small businesses, while Walmart and Costco are fully exempt.
It is unclear if a small retailer would be allowed to deliver a product after 8 pm. Will this rule apply to Amazon? I suspect not.
The ON govt appears to have confirmed that all retail deliveries must end by 8 pm, unless done by a third party courier company. They clearly haven't thought this through.
So, I'm guessing all deliveries by Amazon must be complete by 8 pm if they use their own people? Somehow I think govt will exempt them once again.
