Last year a full strength NZ toured Australia for a 3 match test series. NZ lost the series 3-0 and margin of defeats were 296 runs in Perth, 247 runs in Melbourne and 279 runs in Sydney.
This year a much depleted Indian side is playing a full strength Aussies and the series is evenly poised at 1-1. Meanwhile NZ have gone on to thrash low ranked Windies and Pak 4-0 at home to top the tables in WTC.
Would it be fair if Nz makes it to the WTC finals basis the percentage point system while a team like India despite putting up a fight fails to make the finals. @sanjaymanjrekar
