The House of Fata Morgana 10/10 (MASSIVE SPOILERS)
Feels really good to have my first 10/10 of the year! It was quite an amazing experience and I'm honestly still pretty flabbergastered about the whole experience. I'm going to give a little bit of a thought dump here so beware!
One of the things I would like to start with is with how immersive the experience as a whole is. From its beautiful impressionistic styled background art. Combined with character sprite designs that remind me of 15th century dutch painters as well as having one of the-
most beautiful soundtracks I have heard in a long time. All of these elements combined are able to pull you in so well because each time that I would be playing the house of fata morgana I would forget the world I was in and would be transported to this magnificent tale.
A mysterious and heart wrenching tale at that. The further the plot thickened and the more my soul would hurt from the immense tragedy that the characters we follow would hit throughout this story. This is because all of the characters are well written and feel very-
Multifaced in a way you could say like how in the last door even through all of the terror and tragedy that had shown prevalence they were stil able to have a delightful moment together with George conversing in that playful boyish manner he always would. And it never feels
out of tone either. In any situation, the script is honestly immaculate. its able to mix in so well with the other elements like the OST, the visuals and the general tone of the story is trying to depict its honestly quite wonderful. It brings me from the depths of tragedy
to the brightest moments and is able to make me feel a myriad of emotions. From the laughter, i felt from seeing seeing nellie give her darling brother a hug in door 1 to the absolute state of depravity i felt I was traveling through in morgana's story.
and well Morgana's tale was quite something. Especially with getting 3 different perspectives on Morgana's tale, it felt like slowly I understood and sympathized with Morgana more and more of course after Michel living through her life I already did. But I did even more
Indoor 8 where we got all these new perspectives.
But something that truly blew me away was probably the actual heart-wrenching story of Michel that came completely out of the left field to me but was absolutely amazing and had me at the tip of my seat throughout as I saw Michel go through the hell that eventually sends him to
the mansion in the first place. In a way Fata Morgana was a tale about acceptance and coming to terms with one's self one's complete self that is in all sides. The good and the bad side of oneself. A story of repentance and a mystery, tragedy i enjoyed to the bottom of my heart.
(i actually have some more thoughts about the resemblance between the tales of morgana and michel but i'll write that out another time. This was honestly such an amazing experience.)

BTW PRAISE THE PRE-PLANNING THAT WENT INTO THIS SHOW!
Actually there is even more id like to say but its hard to convey some of the emotional values im feeling into proper words but everything lead up to such a stellar experience that i feel blown out of the water by it. Fantastic
Also @Techrickal thank you for getting me onto this fucking heaaat💖🔥
