A THREAD: Who really gets the "easy" draws in the English domestic cups?
I have analysed the draws for each of the "Big Six" teams in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup over the last 5 years
The upcoming tweets show the teams they were drawn in the FA Cup, with a number indicating which tier division that team is in, before I show the same for the EFL Cup

The "average score" is calculated by adding the numbers next to each team played and dividing them by the number of matches

My next method involves looking at the percentage of Premier League teams faced in both competitions
As the Semi-Final and Final stages are usually all-PL, I've excluded the teams played at this stage of the competitions

According to this method, Liverpool play the highest concentration of PL teams, with Tottenham yet again having the easiest draws statistically

With Manchester City having the joint lowest "average score" and the joint 2nd highest concentration of PL teams played, it's strange how rivals claim they "rig" the draw
