I am sick of this nitpicking about exactly who gets a vaccine. If you have to drag your ass into a hospital during a pandemic, and they're vaccinating at the hospital, you should be eligible. https://twitter.com/NYTHealth/status/1349013112016527360
We're basically going to need to vaccinate 85% of the population *twice* to get true herd immunity and we are so far from that goal it's staggering to contemplate.
It's way more complicated to worry about exact priority levels and keep track of all the rules and communicate and enforce them than it is to say: We're vaccinating at the hospital today. Line up.
Everyone who gets vaccinated benefits everyone else by pushing us closer to herd immunity.
In an ideal world, your grandmother would get vaccinated before a 20-something data entry clerk at a hospital, but it's stupid to spend time agonizing over the odd data clerk who gets vaccinated alongside the ICU nurses.
