GP The bureaucrats have always assumed they were untouchable, unassailable, protected. They assumed things would never change and that people in the hinterlands could safely be ignored forever because they're backwards hick Jesus-loving gun clingers and too dumb to listen to.

GP Government's overall disregard for ordinary Americans from treating us like bottomless wallets to trying to force us to believe as they do to ignoring basic legal and constitutional restraints on their actions built resentment over time and DC was blind to it.

GP When the hicks from the sticks got Trump elected, DC fought back against Trump and by extension them with everything at its disposal. Media pushed made up crap to hamstring Trump. Biden and Obama secretly used government to torment and assail an incoming administration.

GP Pussy-hatted Democrats descended on Washington simply because Hillary lost and they couldn't stand it.

The flyover losers who elected Trump watched all this and learned. They learned a lot of things.

GP They learned Washington's perma-class of sycophantic elites, powerbrokers, bureaucrats, and self-important media idiots was never, ever going to give up power without a fight.

GP They learned if they didn't fight back using Democrats' and media's (BIRM) tactics and rules against them, they would lose.

They learned far too many elected Republicans were content to do nothing to fight back peacefully and legally in order to preserve their power.

GP They learned media would lie, cheat, and steal in order to prevent Flyover Country from having a say in America.

They learned that far too many federal judges were biased operatives who would ignore clear law to stick it to Trump and stonewall his policies.

GP They learned they were considered not just bad Americans but non-Americans whose input was not ever going to be needed or accepted.

They learned Democrats had no intention of obeying the Constitution, arguing to jettison the Electoral College to achieve the "right" result.

GP Is it any wonder that the lesson they took away is that the government-media-Democrat complex is just a prettier, gussied up Mafia, brutal, repressive, and willing to kill to maintain its power?

GP Democrats, media, and government created the situation in which 70M or so Americans decided they'd rather have a horrible man be president for another 4 years than let them have power back.

GP They created the situation where media is (correctly) thought biased and untrustworthy, Democrats are perceived as literally enemies of the Constitution, and bureaucrats as seen as more than willing to attack them using the full force of raw government power.

GP Is it any wonder then that a small portion of this 70M people decided to ignore media and got lost in the festering fever dreams of conspiracy theories pushed by various people?

It's plausible based on what they'd observed that media-Democrats were willing to fix an election.

GP Note that I am not pushing this theory, simply noting that based on the events of the last four years, this is a not insane thought to cross one's mind.

GP Is it any wonder that an even smaller portion of the 70M people ignored by DC, marginalized and mocked by media, and treated as hostis humani generis by Democrats decided to fight back violently and storm the Capitol?*

*which was illegal, bad, wrong, etc.

GP After all, the 70M who voted for Trump and a goodly chunk of those who voted for Biden watched all summer as Democrats and media explained away riots in the streets and sieges of Portland and Seattle as "the language of the unheard" and "mostly peaceful protests."

GP If the summer rioters could act with impunity, why not them?

GP And Democrats-media-bureaucrats were so smug, so convinced their inherent superiority to the scuzzy little people from the icky Land Ocean in the country's middle, that they didn't see the backlash coming.

GP They didn't see Trump's election as the beginning of something larger, as the beginning of a process. They viewed it as an affront to their God-given right to rule us from afar forever.

GP So this is a long way of saying the following.

Democrats-media-bureaucrats created this mess we're now all stuck in and are too blinded by their smug, unmerited senses of superiority to realize it.

GP They have no intention of using this as an opportunity for introspection, much less changing their behavior. Why should they? They have the mandate of Heaven, divinely chosen as our god-kings on earth.

GP And because they refuse to see the obvious, to acknowledge it, and to move forward in a civil and meaningful sense of openness to listening and to compromise, we will continue to see these spasms for the foreseeable future.

GP The Democrat-media-bureaucracy's pathology is more dangerous by far to our shared country than COVID or any other pandemic because it's not a physical malady, it's an ideological malady, a kind of sick, cultish religion.

GP And we all know that no one gives up their faith easily, even when it's clearly leading all to ruin.
