On the Education of Fools - My Experiences trying to convince people of the value of #Bitcoin

Over the past 3 years I have bought and distributed 30 (thirty) Bitcoin books to people who are primed for it (right wing, small Government, tech knowledge). Here are my observations.

Firstly, it is important to note I tried telling people first, but I figured people needed to make their own mind up and so prompting them to do research on the subject, showing them the door if you will, would be the best option.

It started with The Bitcoin Standard (TBS), I didn't have much other choice at the time. The first purchases were late in 2018. I fear the copies I gave then were never read.

Things improved with The Little Bitcoin Book. It is the best introduction to Bitcoin by far, especially given its light weight. Fifteen of the books I have given have been this book. It is also the book I have had the most success with.

This Book Will Save you Time is another great book, I choose this one for people who I felt needed a smaller nudge. With its examples from every day western life it helped those who might be put off with "Bitcoin". Seven copies, mostly hand delivered.

The final addition to my significant push is Thank God for Bitcoin. My parents are Evangelical and well suited, my dad (having also been the recipient of a Bitcoin Billionaires book) thoroughly enjoyed it. He still insists he cant invest in Bitcoin as he "has no money."

So thirty books and only three conversions. An Member of Parliament (Little Bitcoin Book), a friend (LBB followed by TBS) and a colleague (TBWSYT and LBB).

I am left wondering a few things... Firstly, is a 1 in 10 acceptable? Secondly, should I even bother?! Especially given the dates of the purchases and the costs amounting to over 0.01BTC. Is it me that is the greatest Fool?
