I am not really disappointed with #SupremeCourt ‘s stay on the implementation of the #NewFarmBills , even though prima facie it seems disappointing to many ! Putting a short thread to reason. Do check and share/RT if agreed. (1/n)

We all know how reluctant many anti #NewFarmBills protestors have been to discuss the bills clause by clause. Despite government’s repeated efforts ,they do not want to discuss them. They are only insistent on removal of the bills altogether ! (2/n)

Now, while the #SupremeCourt has stayed the IMPLEMENTATION of the laws , it has formed a 4 member committee to look into the issues- the committee consists of these 4 people . (3/n)

Now I am not going into who amongst these 4 already supports the laws and who doesn’t , despite many here making claims about it. But the thing is , now the anti #NewFarmBills protestors will have to present their issues to the committee. (4/n)

The protestors know that there is no way they can escape a clause by clause scrutiny of the bill,if they agree to talk to the committee formed by the #SupremeCourt today ! That’s why yesterday they straightaway refused to participate in the proceedings of any such committee (5/n)

Now the protestors are in a catch 22 situation. If they agree to talk, they will be forced into a clause by clause discussion of the bills, where their reasons for protesting will all fall flat. If they don’t, they’ll only further get exposed and lose support. (6/n)

The harvest season of Rabi crops is still a good 3 months away, enough for the committee to conclude it’s proceedings. The #SupremeCourt ‘s stay in the implementation of the #NewFarmBills thus may not last uptill the harvest season in April ! (7/n)

Thus, farmers hoping to benefit from these #NewFarmBills may not lose much.

And it seems that today the government did not oppose the stay in the implementation of these #NewFarmBills . The government also doesn’t lose much as the ball is now in the #SupremeCourt . (8/n)

An inevitable clause by clause discussion in committee will expose the farce behind the protests, so will the refusal of protestors to participate in the committee proceedings. The government will also tell SC with proof about how K elements have infiltrated the protests. (9/n)

This May further expose the real nature of these protests and how Khalistocommies are playing with fire. Now people are saying that a bad precedent has been set and that anyone will gherao National Capital tomorrow for any demand. (10/n)

I would say that it is not child’s play. Needs a very big organisation. Currently we have the Khalistocommies organising, they really didn’t bother about any precedent. Besides the current situation involves Punjab thus further complicating it. (11/n)

There is simply no way government can use brute force here as that is exactly what the Khalistocommies want. The protestors would then become martyrs as many are emotionally gullible. The government won’t allow this. (12/n)

Now some on our side will ask what’s the use of 303/353 , we have weak government, spineless, etc etc etc. Well 353 ensures a stable government not a reckless/mindless 1. Mindlessness of In the era and Raj eve Kaandi cost 1000s of lives in Punjab,Srilanka and elsewhere. (13/n)
