We asked parents and carers how their spending has changed as a result of the pandemic. This is what they said
Parents documented the additional costs of having children at home all the time; and of seeing increases in their heating bills (and this was before winter and the third lockdown struck)
Parents described how they faced financial security on top of the insecurity that we all face because of the pressures of the pandemic. This inevitably had a negative impact on parents' mental health, as highlighted by Zara
