s Liberal Govt has a legislative duty to assure that the Canadian military carry out their mandate to protect according to the constitution; the law of the land.Trudeau Govt also has a national duty to be loyal to our Five Eyes (FVEY) intelligence alliance.
FVEY is comprised of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, U.K. & USA. All 5 countries are parties to the multilateral UKUSA Agreement. has both national & international duties to work with these partnership nations.
China is not & never has been one of Canada’s partnership nations

Past Canadian Governments have built on decades of cooperation with FVEY and have developed trust in, our FVEY partners. Working together, FVEY has pledged commitment to protect the people in each others’ countries. China is not a partner of the Five Eyes Alliance.
