There's so much wrong with this thread that I'm not going to address it all. Nobody seems to understand the economic system under Nazism (a bit different from Italy's) and I haven't found another excerpt that better encapsulates it than this.

A lot of the confusion stems from the fact that there aren't really any modern parallels to compare it to and Hitler's idea of "socialism" had nothing to do with Marx. It was more about blaming Jews for greed and Nazis wanted class collaboration rather than abolition of class
Additionally, Nazis tried to appeal to the working class in their rhetoric early on, which was never reflected in their policy, and they moved away from that sort of rhetoric as they gained power anyway.
as far as privatization being a myth, I don't know what to tell you except that you're wrong
I mean, if you wanna point out that they offered some public services to non-Jewish citizens, fine, but I really don't think you're gonna convince many people that makes them socialists.
On top of all of this, it's kinda dumb to focus on the economic side of things when talking about Fascism. Their economics weren't the main thing that made them evil.
gonna highlight this because it's hilarious.

context: guy is pointing out that the term "privatization" was basically coined by Nazi Germany after Eric claimed privatization was a myth https://twitter.com/5ftl_/status/1348913611360534529
