Reason y so many people blindly follow criminal, psychopathic & narcissistic leaders is because the tendency to like others who are like us is deeply ingrained. Cult members see/value the same traits[as the leader] in themselves or at least strive to model those sub-consciously
It boils down to Philosophy. Cult members wl hv huge overlaps on all 5 areas w/ the Leader. They either value the same things or strive to.
