She asked him to hand her the knife. He did so and she was more than pleased. She said “You have passed the test and are now eligible to preach the world”. Confused Swami Ji asked her how? She replied that while handing over the knife, he had kept the sharp edge towards himself.

Giving knife from the wooden handle side showed that he did not want his mother to get hurt.
Compassion is the primary quality of a human being. The more selfless you are, the more you receive. This is the law of nature.
