In the world. When we won WWII—my Grandfather among them—It was General MacArthur that fought to preserve the monarchy. Japanese propaganda frightened their people with fears that Americans not only the extinction of Japan but it’s total extermination a la genocide.
Top US officials were sharply divided. Abolitionists insisted that Japan’s imperial system and military would devolve into radical political culture bent on renewed conquest (think N Korea). But General MacArthur stood tall in his resolve and successfully lobbied that it was..
Absolutely vital and essential for the permanent surrender of Japan to maintain Hirohito’s stays as Emperor; that securing continued and lasting peace would require it.

How does this relate to Trump? The domestic terrorists and the threat radical Trump supporters pose for our future? Very simply. It’s absolutely essential that anyone who committed crimes against the United States be held accountable.
But we must preserve our democracy.

The preservation of Democracy requires
a GOP party to survive. Reduce the MAGA to fringe radicals akin to the weird uncle no one wants at the party. Let them rant to themselves. And keep our efforts not obsessively focused on the MAGA—but on a future where they’re irrelevant.

If America does its job well; if #PresidentBiden and the Biden-Harris Administration, The Senate and The House do their job well...Americans will thrive, and radicalism will be tempered and tamped down. Succeed. Make life better. To be against that will be very unattractive.
We “Win” when radicals and domestic terrorists are the people that want to dismantle a thriving, peaceful, caring, just, fair, booming America where everyone is succeeding and happy. We make them the opposition of success and happiness itself.
I’ve only ever been just an everyday American. I pay rent. I’m not fancy. I’m not famous. I’ve been broke many times. I work hard and I raise a family the best I can. But everyday people are exactly who and what this country is about. Whatever your politics—lets do this together.
Our best days absolutely can lie ahead of us, just as #PresidentBiden has said, many times. As @POTUS44 says—We are more alike than we are different.
