#Kaldheim #MTG thread: I'm going to review cards from spoiler season thru an EDH + finance lens.

I am going to add select cards each day as time permits both during and after spoilers. This should be a lot of fun - please feel free to mute if necessary!
Search for Glory is a versatile tutor. It creates redundancy for decks wanting Idyllic Tutor to get legendary Enchantments (see: Sisay Shrines) or for tutoring legend combos (see: Mikaeus) + walkers (see: Call the Gatewatch). It also finds Dark Depths which is straight gas. 1/2
I expect this card to be ~$1 shortly after release, since it doesn't seem playable in constructed formats outside of EDH. If you're excited to get a copy like I am, wait a week or two after release and snag one, otherwise wait ~6 months from release for peak supply to hit.
Reckless Crew is a good payoff for equipment decks. It gives decks like Syr Gwyn the ability to go wide out of nowhere. This is a casual card by nature and will be straight gas if dropped on a stale board state, especially with something like Sword of the Paruns on the field. 1/2
Bulk bin is where you'll find Reckless Crew. No need to pressure and buy copies as this should be found for $0.25 or less within short order.
Reviewing Spectral Steel because it should be added to your Siona list immediately. Protecting the Shielded by Faith wincon is of utmost importance and Spectral Shield fills the role magnificently while still functioning on its own.

This is bulk worth owning for Siona players.
Esika's Chariot is great mainly because of how adorable the cats are (art by Raoul Vitale). But guess what? These kitties on a chariot pair with Combat Celebrant and Heat Shimmer to generate infinite combat steps.

Talk about spicy jank. Meow! đŸ˜»

Bonus: sub Kiki-Jiki as needed!
I love Vega, the Watcher if for no other reason than it is unique for its color identity. It breathes life into a Flashback-tribal commander, something likely fun and worth exploring for those interested in the traditional jank I personally love to see at kitchen tables.
