If you currently consume Haram food, do not let anyone discourage you from praying by telling you, "Your prayers are invalid for forty days."

Yes, consumption of Haram food means that your body is being fueled by the impermissible, which means that it would suck the blessings from the good deed you do.

Your du'as would also be less effective.

But in no way does it mean that the doors of Allah are closed to you. Allah does not work like that.

The doors of repentance, connection and enlightenment are open to a person till the day we die.

Salah should also continue being offered.
