We can sit with this remedial "Private companies can't infringe on your free speech rights" analysis, or we can grow up, look around, and understand that we don't gather in the agora, and we don't communicate through telegram and broadsheets any more.
Social media companies have effectively created an oligarchy on online political speech, and are completely unaccountable to the public. That that doesn't bother people simply because they finally swatted down the people we don't like should be alarming.
