Thinking about Ronny Deila earlier. Treated abysmally by senior players & their press pals. Tossed aside by Celtic for losing on penalties in a game we could have won 6-2. Showed integrity & respect in everything he did. Compare & contrast with the fucking charlatan we have now.
Lennon is stealing our money. Yes he’s by no means the only one at Celtic in that category, he’s not he only one that should be out on their ear either, but he’s absolutely destroyed our capability & credibility. He’s incompetent, arrogant, and blows up under pressure every time.
It’s an embarrassment he’s manager of Celtic. It’s even worse this time than it was the last. The intervening years should have been eternally disqualifying. We knew what we were getting, and we went ahead and did it anyway. Hell mend us for being so fucking stupid to accept it.
He’s faced a truly competitive Rangers in two seasons managing us. We’ve lost both. His treble consists of an unfinished league season, a League Cup where our keeper had the game of his career, and a Scottish Cup won on penalties against a Championship team. He’s a fraud.
You get what you pay for. We paid for an idiot who adores himself first and foremost and tried to sell a fucking calendar on the back of his personality cult. Who’d been mutually consented from Bolton & Hibs under clouds both times. How the fuck did we think this would end?
The Lawwell & Desmond critiques should be equally damning. Celtic is a story of three middle-aged white men with egos the size of small countries showing their metaphorical dicks to each other while the rest of us pay through the nose for the privilege. I’ve had enough.
The point wasn’t Deila was a great manager. The point was he was punted for much, much less than the current clownshoe has been allowed to perpetrate. And he conducted himself a damn sight better in leaving when his time was up. Mental how people can’t see that.
