There is no evidence AT ALL that waiting 35 days instead of 21 days to provide the second dose of the vaccine "builds up immunity". None. No data. No research. To be clear, my issue isn't with single dosing. But the justification is that we have limited doses and extending the schedule allows more people to receive some protection, saving lives. That our PHO feels the need to LIE and imply that she's improving on the study is bizarre.
And I remind everyone of the PHO's comment last week implying Pfizer data shows immunity from a single dose doesn't diminish after 48 days. But THERE IS NO DATA from Pfizer on single-dose immunity to 48 days. They double-dosed everyone. Only days 12-21 provide any data on this.
