We must refuse to minimise the contribution & absolve the responsibility of British Trump supporters both here and in America to the radicalisation of white nationalists. Every journalist, pundit & spokesperson should be outed, shamed & held to account for their proximity to it.
I am thinking in particular the BBC editors & producers that platform people who parrot alt-right, Trumpian charlatans under the guise of ‘different opinions’. The Spectator which has published nazi-sympathetic rhetoric and similar publications too.
I am thinking of the Tory politicians who have been paid by the Mercer’s who fund white supremacist organisations. I am thinking of the right-wing think tanks in London who work in coordination with the same people who have supported & funded the extremists at Capitol Hill.
The Vote Leave employees who worked with the same propagandists as the Trump campaign and who have cemented themselves in the upper echelons of British power...despite having participated in criminality personally.
There are politicians and pundits in Westminster, who appear every day on national radio & television & publications who parrot the same radicalising language as that which was consumed by the people that stormed the Capitol. This was the most significant attack since 9/11.
