One rumor centers around the treasures hidden away inside. Treasures that could make a lucky thief go down in history if they were clever enough to steal.

SQT has her eye on another kind of treasure: the heart of detective YWX, to the point she might trade intel about MR to get on YWX's good side. It makes her a wild card to work with, but her skills and tendency to always stumble into MR's tracks make her invaluable as an ally.
Of course, she also has her eye on the treasures of Wubei Temple.
She already managed to sneak in and has been working her way up the ranks to get intel. In a stroke of luck (or horrible misfortune if you ask her), she's the one who runs into Mo Ran first after he sneaks in.

The big ceremony isn't gonna be a wedding, maybe something related to Chu Wanning dying for Chu Lan... I need to rewatch the movie and brainstorm what Huaizui's motivation could be since the original villain's doesn't quite fit this au? Someone who has watched it, come bug me.
I am dying over the idea of Mo Ran stumbling into the room Chu Wanning is hidden away in and trying to "seduce him" like Lupin does Clarisse except CWN's response to flirtation is beating Mo Ran up.
