right is always sneering at left wing bubbles, but imagine being so utterly isolated from public opinion that you can't imagine that supporting a violent fascist insurrection would alienate Hallmark.

Ds are eager for impeachment because Trump is a threat. but also because they smell blood in the water.

Hawley is in a deep red state and tying himself to Trump now looks like it's fucked him. Ds are saying, "let's see what happens when Rob Portman votes in favor of Trump having a federal pension for life."

and it's entirely appropriate for Ds to be using this as a political cudgel. Rs should pay a political price for embracing fascism.
