When the GOP uses the term “democracy,” they don’t mean what we mean.

They mean the right of white people to impose their will & control government.

That is why they are so offended by black people voting &work so hard to suppress it.

They argued that throwing out

thousands of black votes without a scrap of evidence of actual fraud made sense because it was the non-whiteness of the voters that made them inherent illegitimate.

So understand that when they say “defend democracy,” they don’t mean 1 person-1 vote. They mean one white person

one vote.

This is why they believe their vote is “diluted” when non-whites are allowed to vote too.

It is also why, despite EVERY opportunity, huge resources & courts bending over backwards for them, Team Trump wasn’t able to prove a single case of wide-spread voter fraud.

Put simply, there’s no way to prove the illegitimacy of blackness or brown-ness in a court of law.

That’s why they still believe “fraud” occurred without a micron of evidence.

Like “democracy,” they use the word “fraud” to mean something very different than the rest of us.
