I'm way in the minority here but I think Howie Roseman is a great GM and would feel good as a Eagles fan about him staying over Pederson
He's been inventive and forward-thinking w/ stuff like comp picks, contract adjustments and moving around the board. He's hit a bad run in drafting, and locked in too far on aging guys like Jeffery. I'm just skeptical a handful of bad picks means you can't fundamentally draft
I didn't agree with going so far towards all-in the last couple years, but you can't argue too much against trying to maximize a window. I think he can pivot to a quick rebuild better than most
For most of these guys, you're a bad talent evaluator before being a good talent evaluator or the other way around. They had a roster win a SB with Nick Foles. However bad the last few years have been with talent acquisition, it's just as likely to turn around as continue
I'm much more confident that the brilliance he's shown with things outside of talent evaluation will continue more than his poor drafting. You can see exactly the thinking and logic and process on the stuff he's great at. Drafting the right players is all results
I also think Lurie is one of the sharpest owners. He made this choice with lots of info we're not privy to. I'm going to have some faith in him here
