/ There's a kind of mental exhaustion that sets in when you know that the govt are lying yet again, that there's no way they are going to get the vaccinations done that they have promised in the time they said, and that they will move the goalposts again and claim it is
/ someone else's fault: the people for not complying with rules and regs they don't understand and that politicians have broken without penalty and now the new mutation of the virus, even though they knew it was coming for weeks. Hatred is a terrible thing yet I doubt
/ I'm alone in my hatred of this govt and the way it blandly carries on as if the 100,000 deaths by we'll have by end Jan are nothing to do with them. Nobody in their right minds would have gone for Brexit in the midst of the worst plague for 100 yrs - but they did.
/ Their cavalier attitude comes from a sense of superiority that many of them are given at birth and others cloak themselves with as they climb the shit ladder that is politics today They are cossetted, protected, driven from door to door, none of them and none of theirs so far
/ has died of Covid. Unless it were to start ploughing through their ranks nothing will change. If we get through this (I don't for a moment think its "when") then unless we change the way we are governed then nothing will change. The people driving all of this want control
/ of everything - of us the people in particular. Before you laugh think of how our liberties have been eroded - parliament prorogued, electoral boundaries to be shifted to make it easier for Perpetual Tory Govt; massive projects like HS2 no good to man nor beast
/ suck the money and the life out of the land.; our city streets are filling again with the homeless and in one of the richest nations on earth there are foodbanks and children go hungry. And don't think for one moment that any Tory politician cares one jot. They vote
/ to feather their own nests and save their own necks. Caring conservatism like military intelligence and sustainable development is a pure oxymoron. Easter will come and The Porcine Fridge magnet will weep his crocodile tears and say how nobody regrets as much as he
/ that it will be June etc etc. Covid has killed more civilians in the UK in 10 months than the luftwaffe did in the whole of WW2, and the pound shop Churchill that runs this country quips about "last gasp" ventilators and "shaking hands with covid patients." A moral imbecile
/ who has done as much damage to this country as Trump, is not impeachable, is stuck like a limpet to a rock and, unless Providence supplies us with some relief in the shape of a jealous husband or a lightening strike, the bastard and his chums will be there for 4 more years
