A little history of the Robert Woods coaching tree and its influence on the Cedar Hill football program in a thread #txhsfb

In 1990 the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles won the Class 4A state title, coaching that team was Robert Woods and a member of that team was Carlos Lynn.
In 1995, while head coach at Crowley, Coach Woods hired a young assistant named Joey McGuire straight out of college, Coach McGuire was an alum of Crowley HS #txhsfb
Coach Woods was hired at Cedar Hill in 1997 and brought Coach McGuire along with him and he also hired his former player Coach Carlos Lynn in 1998.
Coach Woods left in 2002 and Coach McGuire and now Coach Lynn have done amazing things at Cedar Hill HS.... #txhsfb
