A thread on why Javonte Williams is my favorite running back prospect and why he reminds me of Nick Chubb:
I’m the first play he only gains five yards but you can see his patience when trying to let his blockers create a hole. When he realizes it’s not gonna happen he hits his burst to the outside. The second play shows how he reads that his hole closing again and gets a huge gain.
In this next play his blockers do a good job opening a hole. Once he gets to the next level he outruns a linebacker, makes a man miss a show lace tackle, runs over a man, then has to get tackled by two players. This is where I see Nick Chubb.
On this play he reads the zone finds the hole breaks a tackle and then again it takes a gang tackle to stop him. A simple play for a short gain but he makes it look good.
This is probably my favorite play from this game. By no means should he be able to get back to the line of scrimmage. He broke FOUR tackles for no gain. Super impressive effort and ability.
Ooh baby, in the first play it’s pretty simple. Get three yards and get a first down. That’s exactly what he does with a dive. The second play however he is getting swarmed by 4 players. He manages to get a stiff arm and bounce to the outside for a touchdown?!?! Wowzers
Here’s one of the best plays I’ve ever seen from a running back. First of all he should be getting tackled in the backfield by 3 defenders. He manages to cut to the outside. Hurdle a guy. Run a man over. Spin out of two defenders tackles. All while gaining 45 yards...
Here he goes again making things happen that shouldn’t. Both plays no holes open up so he bounces to the outside for good gains.
Finds a seams gets the first down and drags his tackler for a couple more yards
Again, breaks some tackles gets to the outside for extra yards

Javonte Williams just had a very natural stiff arm and it very rarely fails him. Also the effort he had to get this touchdown.
This is it for the thread, you should go watch more film of Javonte and hope he can somehow land on the Cardinals.
