It will only be a reasonable excuse to leave your home to go to work, if that work cannot be done from home
For example, onsite manufacturing and construction activity – but this must be kept to an absolute minimum

Follow physical distancing and hygiene measures including at mealtimes and in shared accommodation to prevent outbreaks

We need every business that remains open to look at their operations
Make sure that every single function that can be done by people working at home is being done in that way

Ensure distancing in canteens
For workplace canteens it is a requirement from Friday 8 January that employees sit 2 metres or more apart, rather than 1 metre
Follow the rules to prevent the virus spreading and to keep people safe
