Recently listened to @ReeceWabara on The High Performance Podcast with @mrjakehumphrey and Prof. Damian Hughes

Here’s a quick thread on some of the key insights
1.
High Performance

What really defines high performance is consistency - how long you can maintain your efforts toward a specific goal.

Sounds simple, but hard to execute.
2.
Accountability

You have to hold yourself accountable for everything that happens. This is mostly true on the bad side because success is shared, whereas, for failure, you have to take it by yourself.

As a leader, someone else’s error becomes your error.
3.
Avoiding Survivorship Bias

People are used to seeing the outcome of hard work on social media but aren’t exposed to the failures.

Studying failures more than successes can give you unique insights.
4.
Most failures follow the same pattern, whereas everyone’s success is different.

Don’t just watch what other people are doing when they’re successful. Spot their failures to gain deeper insight.
5.
Company Culture

@ManiereDeVoir is constantly seeking to improve in every single area; from the minimal details to the really big things.

Create a culture of high performance.
6.
Finally, something I think many decision-makers can relate to:

Listen to people, but know when to think for yourself and make the final decision.

If you’re in a position to make decisions, you know how hard this can be.
7.
From being a pro football player to building a successful company, I’m sure many of us can admire what @ReeceWabara has built over the years.

But it’s just the beginning - looking forward to seeing more.
