I say this with no shade or snark: Patriarchy & religion cost ALOT of women a truly enjoyable young adult-hood. Skipping parties, hardly dating, not traveling - because you were told you're supposed to basically sit there and wait to be found - without blemish.

But consider that what men who subscribe to this say they want doesn't add up. They want virginal wives who still magically get it poppin' in all ways and sides in the bedroom. How's that supposed to work?

Adults wait longer and longer to get married - especially Black, college educated adults (yes it's a verifiable data point), and you spent your whole 20s doing what you were told "good women" do, and now you missed it. For what?
