The aim of football is to win trophies. Since Fergie left, the best trophy we have won is the Europa League. Pogba was the best player in the tournament and scored in the final to win us the trophy.
People say Pogba has not been consistent at his time at the club but this is media driven lies. In the 16/17, 17/18 and 18/19 seasons only Pogba was in the top 4 midfielders for average ratings. So much for inconsistency.
In the 17/18 season, Man City could have lifted the PL trophy against us. They were 2-0 up and Pogba stepped up when it mattered with one of the greatest performances from a midfielder in PL history to win us the game 3-2.
The 18/19 season was Pogbas best. He was clear of any midfielder in the PL. In a season where City and Liverpool dominated, Pogba was the only non City or Liverpool player to get into the PFA TOTY. Since Jose got sacked and Ole came in, Pogba's numbers were the best in the world.
