We've received questions about COVID-19 vaccinations at U-M. There's a lot of info out there, so we thought we'd distill it for ease of absorption. It is VERY important to get vaccinated if able so we can keep our communities safe, and to keep taking precautions through roll-out!
What next? First things first, head to http://bit.ly/BlueQueue to fill out the Blue Queue questionnaire to let Michigan Medicine know you want to be vaccinated. Fill out the form as best possible. Make sure to wear a mask to your appt and don't forget to book your 2nd dose!
Remember to keep taking all precautions before and after you are vaccinated - wear a mask, wash your hands, maintain social distancing.
Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, which Michigan Medicine will use, are safe and effective and went through the full approval process!

Michigan Medicine is currently vaccinating frontline medical workers at U-M. Soon they will be contacting essential workers in critical infrastructure and individuals 65+ to schedule appointments. Make sure to fill out the Blue Queue to be placed in the correct phase!
Michigan Medicine is basing their vaccine roll-out on guidance from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, with some small adjustments. Timelines are shifting, so it is important to keep up to date with the information provided by Michigan Medicine and MDHHS.
We know it can be difficult to keep track of changing and emerging information, so we've put a webpage on our site with this information and hope to update it when we receive new information. We have included a list of resources which we are tracking. https://www.geo3550.org/2021/01/11/covid-19-vaccination-info-at-the-university-of-michigan-michigan-medicine/
