/ by investing in really volatile stocks or cryptocurrency, you CAN make a lot of money. But unless you cash out during a moment of gains, then your investment will simply fluctuate over time.
/ I bring this up now because last week, I noticed a lot of people posting that they became bitcoin millionaires. Yes, at the time of sharing, their investments were valued at over 1M, but as I mentioned in my previous tweet, Bitcoin is extremely volatile. That 1M now worth 750ke
/ I believe that in the long-term, Bitcoin and Ethereum will be a good investment. But prematurely calling yourself a millionaire simply because 95% of your investment portfolio is in Bitcoin isn't fully true -- unless you cashed out at that moment.
/ by investing in different stocks and assets (gold, crypto, real estate, etc.) you allow your portfolio to weather the storm -- especially when certain assets are extremely volatile. Check out ETFs, learn about different stocks and industries, etc.
/ I have also noticed that a lot of people who bought Bitcoin a few years ago are leveraging that extremely inflated number in their coinbase account -- to trick gullible people into giving them money in exchange for their expertise.
/ "I made a million bucks with bitcoin, give me your money & ill guarantee you become a rich too. I only charge 5% of the total investment".
