Tomorrow, Lisa Montgomery is set to be executed. She is the only woman on federal death row.
Her lawyers say she is incompetent to be executed due to her mental illness. She's having auditory hallucinations, she believes God is speaking to her through connect-the-dot puzzles.

Her lawyers haven't been able to meet with her in person since Nov. 2, when they contracted COVID-19 after visiting her in prison.
Montgomery will be transferred to a prison in Terre Haute (the site of a massive COVID-19 outbreak) for her scheduled execution, if she has not already.
Two other people are scheduled to be killed this week: Corey Johnson and Dustin Higgs.
Both recently contracted COVID-19. Their lawyers argue that lung damage from their infections will make the execution far more painful and akin to torture.
